- First boil the eggs, let it cool down and peel..
- Take a pan, heat a little bit of oil. Add haldi powder, red chilli powder and biriyani masala. Sauté the eggs for a few seconds. Cut in half and keep aside..
- In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee. Once heated, add cinnamon stick, whole red chilli, black Cardamon, green Cardamon and star anise with sliced onion and sauté till golden brown..
- Add chilli ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft..
- Add all dry masalas and mix well. Then add 2tbsp curd and salt, then mix well..
- Now keep the gravy into a different bowl. Add first layer rice into the first pan where we cooked the gravy..
- Now add fried onions coriander and mint leaves and gravy on top.
- Now add the cut boiled eggs and once again add the rice on top and then fried onions and gravy. Continue these steps one more time.
- Sprinkle saffron milk on top and cover with a lid. Seal the lid around with dough. Cook for 10-15 min in low medium heat. Your delicious tasty yummy egg biryani is ready. Serve with curd or raita..
