The ingredients needed to make Kheer:

  1. {Take 2 liter of full fat milk.
  2. {Get 2 cup of sugar to taste.

Instructions to make Kheer:

  1. Wash and soak rice in water for 1/2 hr. Then drain and slightly grind or mash them. Coarsely ground. No paste required.
  2. Boil milk,add cardamoms,as boil comes add crushed rice.let it cook at low till rice are soft and milk starts getting thick.it might take long time.keep stirring in between.
  3. Then add sugar and mix well.add kewra as well.keep mixing to stop sticking at bottom.as sugar gets dissolved completely stop cooking.pour in bowls.
  4. Garnish with chopped nuts.keep refrigerated.serve chill and enjoy. Kheer
