- Pressure cook rice and dal with 3 cups or water for 5 whistles or 20 mins.
- Meanwhile heat a pan and add ghee. Once heated add the ingredients to be tempered.
- Add onion and saute until golden brown. Add tomatoes and capsicum and saute until softened.
- Add the cooked rice and dal mix and mix well. Serve with papad and pickle.
